Man in custody for alleged rape of a 57yr-old woman

A 37-year-old man of Tacirua is in Police custody for allegedly raping a 57-year-old woman.

It is alleged that the man stole the victim’s mobile phone and raped the woman in a nearby secluded area.

The alleged incident occurred last Thursday.
