Police currently questioning man alleged to have raped 57yr-old woman last week

Police are currently questioning a 37-year-old man of Tacirua who allegedly raped a 57-year-old woman last week.

Details are still sketchy however Police say it is alleged that the man stole the victim’s mobile phone and raped the woman in a nearby secluded area.

The alleged incident occurred last Thursday.
