A man is still in police custody after the bus he was driving hit a 65-year-old man who passed away on Adi Davila Road at Davuilevu Housing.

Police say the incident occurred after 2pm yesterday.

According to initial information, it is alleged that the man got off the bus and was crossing the road from the front when he got hit by the bus.

The man died at the scene.
