The 40-year-old bus driver who allegedly caused the death of a 65 year old man on Tuesday has been further remanded in custody.
The accused appeared before Nasinu Magistrate Charles Ratakele and was instructed to file a formal bail application.
He is charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death.
It is alleged that the victim got off the bus and was crossing the road from the front of the bus when he got hit by the same bus.
Police say that the incident occurred at 2pm Tuesday on Adi Davila Road at Davuilevu Housing.
The man died at the scene.
The case has been adjourned till next Monday.
