Energy is high within the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team as they are day away from beginning their defence of the Hamilton 7s title.
Speaking to us from Hamilton, Coach Gareth Baber says he will name his 12 players today adding that all the players are in good shape.
Baber is aware that all other teams will aim to topple Fiji, but his focus is to continue assessing how these teams perform so his players are not caught off-guard.
The team will take an early morning tour of the Hamilton FMG Stadium this morning to familiarize themselves with the venue, especially for the new players.
Meanwhile, people continue to send their well wishes to the team including the King of Sevens Waisale Serevi who also took to social media to wish the Fiji team all the very best.
Fiji will take on Wales in their first match of the Hamilton 7s at 10.52am tomorrow, they will then face Argentina at 2.42pm and take on Australia at 6.52pm in their last pool game this tomorrow.
The cup quarters will start at 10.36am this Sunday, the semifinals will kick off at 3.16pm and the final will start at 7.10pm this Sunday.
