A 17-year-old boy from Kalabu allegedly stole more than $18,000 worth of items from a woman who fell asleep while travelling in a minibus last Saturday.
The juvenile has been charged with one count of theft by Police.
Police say the woman was a passenger in a minibus travelling along the Suva-Nausori corridor.
The woman woke up and discovered her personal items missing which included a GPS machine worth $17,000.
The 17-year-old boy was tracked down by Police to his home in Kalabu where the GPS machine was found in his possession.
