Man sentenced to 15yrs and 2 months for raping his daughter

A father has been sentenced to 15 years and 2 months by the Labasa High Court for raping his daughter in Levuka in 2015.

A non-parole period of 13 years and 2 months has also been set.

The victim was 15 years at the time of the incident.

Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe says while giving evidence the victim broke down many times.
