The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will depart for the Las Vegas 7s today however, Alasio Naduva’s Visa status remains unclear.

Naduva was named as the 14th player in the travelling squad.

The Fiji Rugby Union says they always have complications when it comes to the USA and will have an update later in the day on Naduva’s Visa.

Meanwhile, FRU CEO, John O’Connor says that in case Naduva’s visa application is delayed, Batisavu Uluiyata is on standby to travel with the team.

Also named in the squad for Las Vegas are Mesulame Kunavula, Kalione Nasoko, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Josua Vakurinabili, Ratu Meli Derenelagi, Paula Dranisinikula, Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Terio Tamani, Vilimoni Botitu, Aminiasi Tuimaba and Alasio Naduva.

Yamacia player Isoa Tabu the younger brother of Mocenacagi is the new comer and is joined by Asaeli Tuivoka of Fiji Corrections.

Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of Las Vegas 7s at 11.22am next Saturday, they will then face Wales at 2.23pm on the same day.

They will then face Australia at 7.52am next Sunday.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.46pm next Sunday, semifinals will start at 9.12am and the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday the 4th of next month.
