Thousands of residents in the Nasinu area are facing water disruptions as 2 pumps in the Kalabu pumping station broke down last night.

Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that the pumps have been fixed and they are waiting for the reservoir to fill up and water supply is expected to be restored later today.

They have sent out water trucks to cater for those in affected areas.

Areas affected include Nadera, Kinoya and Kalabu.
