The Public Service Commission has appointed Dimity Fifer as the Permanent Secretary for Local Government with the agreement of the Prime Minister.

This appointment comes after Jovilisi Suveinakama had withdrawn from the position earlier this month.

Fifer holds a lot of experience in the social services sector, volunteering and women’s network development and Local Government.
