Twenty people were rushed to the Waiyevo Hospital in Taveuni this afternoon after a 10 wheeler truck carrying cement blocks had a head on collision with a bus
The accident happened along Nabeka stretch past Weilagi Village as the truck was transporting the cement blocks to Matei.
Police say four remain admitted in the hospital while others have been discharged.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear at this stage.
Pictures taken by eyewitnesses at the accident scene shows the front of the bus extensively damaged.
Investigations continue.
