President Jioji Konrote has received the credentials by the newly appointed High Commissioner of India to Fiji, Padmaja.
Padmaja, had previously been the Deputy Director General for the Indian Council of Cultural relations since 2018 in New Delhi, India.
Prior to this, she had been the Joint Secretary (CPV Division) for the Ministry of External affairs from 2017‑2018 in New Delhi, India.
She also held a few other diplomatic positions in India as well as England ,holding a Master of Arts degree in Ancient History.
