Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says mothers are the rock of Fijian families everywhere.
He wrote on Facebook that he started the day right with a special Mother's Day Sunday church service.

The Prime Minister says after church, his wife Mary was joined by their children and grandchildren for their annual family tradition: laying flowers and tidying up the grave sites of their dearly departed relatives – especially those mothers, grandmothers and aunties who are with them in spirit on this very special day.
