High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe has acquitted the 38-year-old man who was alleged to have raped a 3-year-old at a Day Care Centre in Suva.
While delivering his judgment, Justice Rajasinghe said that prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was the 38-year-old man who had committed the offence.
All three assessors in the case had also found the man not guilty of the offence.
