More than 500 athletes and officials from more than 50 countries will be attending the International Weightlifting Federation Junior World Championship that will be held in the country next month.

Chair of the Organizing Committee, Dr Robin Mitchell says with only two weeks left before the first team’s arrival, they are ready to host this competition which will also be an Olympic Qualifying Gold Event.

He says since the competition will be held at the FMF Gymnasium, it is very fitting that FMF is a partner in delivering this championship.

FMF Foods Limited General Manager Marketing, Amrita Sagar says what is really exciting is that this partnership aligns with FMF's goals in promoting good human values, development of youths and striving for excellence in health and fitness.

The IWF Junior World Championships will be held at the FMF National Gymnasium from the 1st to the 8th of next month.
