Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Gareth Baber says apart from a minimal knee injury that captain Paula Dranisinukula suffered the team is in good shape after a tough London 7s.

Speaking from Paris in the last hour, Baber says Dranisinukula was rested on Monday and Tuesday and is back to where he needs to be.

Baber says Jerry Tuwai was also battling in London after coming back from injury.

He says with a tough pool ahead of them, the team’s game plan for this weekend is still the same and this is to play to their strength.

Fiji needs to finish ahead of USA in the Paris 7s this weekend to claim their fourth HSBC series title.

Fiji will take on England in their first pool match at 10.50pm this Saturday, they will take on Argentina at 2.16am this Sunday and take on Ireland at 5.42am in their last pool match.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 9.28pm this Sunday, Cup semifinals will start at 1.23am Monday and the Cup final will be played at 4.33am Monday.

Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet Scotland or France in the quarter final, they are likely to take on USA or South Africa in the semifinal, and New Zealand or Australia in the final.
