The people of Nausori may see some new upgrades to Syria Park after the 2019 Vodafone Tebara Carnival.
Tebara Committee Chairman Lagesh Prasad says the funds raised from this year's carnival will go towards the upgrading of Syria Park.
Prasad says they would like to upgrade Syria Park to something similar to My Suva Park in Nasese.
He adds with the huge number of people that have been gathering at the carnival for the past four days their target of $50,000 will surely be reached.
The funds will also be used for other projects such as donating rubbish bins to the Nausori Town Council.
The Vodafone Tebara Queen will be crowned this Saturday.
