A 22-year-old woman is in police custody after she was found with white substances believed to be methamphetamine in Sigatoka.
Police say a woman constable saw the suspect sitting inside a car near a supermarket in town and acting in a suspicious manner on Monday afternoon.
They say the suspect was escorted to the Sigatoka Police Station where a search was conducted which led to the discovery of sachets containing white substances and crystals believed to be methamphetamine.
Police also found a bag containing pink tablets.
Police say they also seized smoking apparatus, a syringe and memory cards.
The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
