High Court Judge, Justice Riyaz Hamza will sum up the rape case of a former head teacher of a primary school in Naitasiri tomorrow afternoon.
He is charged with one count of rape, one count of sexual assault, 3 counts of indecent assault and 2 counts of indecently annoying someone.
There are six victims and the alleged offences happened in 2017.
While making the closing submissions, Prosecution lawyer Unaisi Tamanikaiyaroi told the court that the accused as the head teacher of the school had the responsibility to look after the children.
She said it is unfortunate that it is the head teacher that committed the offences.
Defence lawyer Sitiveni Raikanikoda stated that the students wanted to implicate the head teacher.
