A 45-year-old farmer of Nakoro Village in Navosa has passed away in a road accident on Friday.
According to Police, the man who was allegedly drunk got off his vehicle along Vuniquwawa in Dratabu Road in Navosa and was hit by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
Police say a post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
The road death toll currently stands at 24 compared to 28 for the same period last year.
