The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team to the Pacific Games joined nurses, doctors and officials from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in their Wellness Walk March this morning from the Nausori Health Center to Syria Park.
This is part of the Ministry of Health’s program in "Promoting Wellness through Rugby Programmes.
The Fiji 7s team met patients, and also visited the maternity unit in Nausori.
Fiji 7s team Manager Jone Niurua says this is part of their contribution in promoting sports as a wellness program that can tackle the rising issue of non‑communicable diseases.
The Fiji 7s team was led by their Manager, Jone Niurua, Tomasi Cama Snr and 7s star Asaeli Tuivuaka.
