Pacific Sprint King, Banuve Tabakaucoro will feature in the 200 metres heats today at the Pacific Games.

Tabakaucoro won gold in the 100 metres last night with a record time of 10.31 seconds.

He also holds the record in the 200 metres with a time of 20.53 seconds which he set in 2015.

Jim Colasau will be the other athlete for Fiji in the 200 metres event.

The Men’s 200 metres heats will be held later this afternoon.

The Women’s 200 metres heats will be held tomorrow where Heleina Young, Serenia Ragatu and Braelyn Yee will represent Fiji.

Kameli Sauduadua and Samuela Railoa will feature in the 400 metres final later today while Ana Kalaoucava will feature in the Women’s 400 metres final.

Looking at the medal tally, Fiji is currently in fourth place with 23 gold, 26 silver and 34 bronze. New Caledonia is first with 58 gold, 38 silver and 29 bronze while Samoa is second with 26 gold, 26 silver and 30 bronze.
