A couple has been charged with one count of giving false information which allegedly allowed them to obtain a property in Tacirua East Subdivision.
Sandhya Devi Prasad and Durga Prasad have appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
They allegedly submitted a Statutory Declaration and salary confirmation for Sandhaya Prasad to the Housing Authority of Fiji containing misleading information which allowed them to obtain the property.
FICAC State Counsel, Sera Fatafehi informed the Court that the first phase disclosures had been served to the two Accused individuals.
Magistrate Sofia Hamza released the couple on bail with two sureties each and a cash bond of $500.00 FJD each.
She also instructed them to report to the FICAC office every Monday and Friday, issued a Stop Departure Order and also imposed a curfew on the couple.
The matter was adjourned to 13th September 2019.
