Wallabies coach Michael Cheika says he must shake off bitter Bledisloe Cup disappointment and set about finalising a Rugby World Cup squad on the back of two extreme polar opposite performances from his team.

The All Blacks thrashed the Wallabies 36-0 last night to keep the Bledisloe Cup for another year.

Cheika insisted the result will not impact on their World Cup hopes in Japan but said it will take time to get over another failed trans‑Tasman tilt.

Australia will take on the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians in their first pool game of the Rugby World Cup on the 21st of next month.
