Fiji Airways Flying Fijians prop Peni Ravai says sevens rugby has been helpful in his career.
The 29-year-old who played for French club Bordeaux-Bègles, made his international 7s debut in 2013 where he replaced injured Josua Tuisova in the USA 7s.
The former Cuvu College student says he used to play at center during school days however opted for the front-row positions for Nadroga in 2009 as there were a lot of back-line players then.
Since then, Ravai has been playing as a prop and hooker in fifteens game.
Fiji will face Tonga on the 31st of this month before taking on the Wallabies in their first pool game of the Rugby World Cup on the 21st of next month at 4.45pm.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay.
The Rugby World Cup will be held from the 20th of next month to the 2nd of November.
