Vodafone Fiji U23 soccer coach Marika Rodu says they must be mentally prepared if they are to overcome New Zealand in the OFC Olympic Qualifiers semi-final tomorrow.

He says that New Zealand are a well structured side who have been dominating the Oceania region for a while, so it will be a hard task to beat them.

Rodu says that finishing has been a constant weakness for Fiji, which has been evident in all three pool matches despite creating numerous goal scoring opportunities.

However, Rodu says that Samoa and Solomon Islands have demonstrated that goals can be scored against New Zealand and its all about taking advantage of their opportunities.

Fiji take on New Zealand in the first semi-final at 12pm tomorrow while Vanuatu play Solomon Islands at 3pm.

Both matches will be played at Churchill Park.
