The 34-year-old taxi driver alleged to have caused the death of a 34-year-old woman following a motor vehicle accident on Monday has been charged.
The accused has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and will be produced in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.
Police say a separate investigation into the alleged drug related offence is ongoing.
Police had said white substances believed to be methamphetamine was found in the vehicle.
