Digicel is not saying what action it will take after the huge reduction in wholesale rates for data.
The company has announced their new data plan where people will be able to get 22GB of data for $11.
When questioned by Legend FM News on what they will do based on the wholesale rate being paid to FINTEL dropping yesterday from $40,000 to $640 per 10 GB line, CEO Mike Greig says this is part of their birthday promotion that will run for a month.
However he did not reveal if data rates will go down.
