A one-year-old boy has lost his life in an accident at Tobu Village in Ra at about midday today.
It is alleged that the boy was travelling in a car driven by a 39-year-old man from Vatukoula.
This car was involved in an accident with another vehicle driven by a 53-year-old man.
The 39-year-old driver and a 40-year-old woman who was also travelling in the same vehicle are admitted in the Rakiraki Hospital, while the 53-year-old driver is receiving treatment at the Nanukuloa Health Center.
The road death toll currently stands at 45 compared to 59 for the same period last year.
