Fiji Airways Fijian Drua have booked their spot in the semi-finals of the Australian National Rugby Championship after defeating Queensland Country 26-24 this afternoon at Lawaqa Park.

Queensland scored two early tries through Joey Fitlock and Harry Wilson.

The Drua answered with three tries from Johnny Dyer, Levani Kurumudu and Apisalome Waqatabu.

Fijian Drua led Queensland Country 21-17 at half time.

Queensland Country came off firing in the second half and scored another try to take a 24-21 lead.

The Fijian Drua regained their confidence and showed great determination which saw Jiuta Wainiqolo scoring the winning try.

The Fijian Drua is expected to face Canberra Vikings in the semi-final next Saturday.
