The Police Special Response Unit soccer team has been crowned the 2019 Kontiki Finance Fiji Police Force Inter District Championship winners.
This is after they beat the Western Division 2 soccer team 2-1 in the final.
Both goals were scored by PSRU and Suva soccer player Simione Tamanisau.
The Police Special Response Unit was captained by Labasa's Akuila Mateisuva. They also had the services of Rewa's Tevita Waranivalu and Madhvan Goundar and Meli Codro.
Police Special Response Unit had beaten Southern Division 5-4 to qualify for the final while Western Division 2 defeated Northern Division 3-1.
