Escapee Waisea Sasalu has been arrested in Nadonumai, Lami this morning and is back in Police custody.

Sasalu surrendered himself to a team of officers and is now at the Totogo Police Station.

He escaped from the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday morning.

Sasalu was awaiting his court appearance for an aggravated robbery case.

Meanwhile, an internal investigation will be carried to try and establish how Sasalu escaped.
