3 fishermen rescued in Yasawa waters after boat had capsized

3 fishermen were rescued in the Yasawa waters earlier today after their boat had capsized yesterday.

A search and rescue flight team deployed by the Rescue Coordination Centre located the missing persons some distance from the capsized boat.

#SAR The Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC FIJI) coordinated another Search & Rescue (SAR) case this morning

The Rescue Coordination Centre have acknowledged the support the Fiji Police, Fiji Airports, Turtle Island Resort, Turaga ni Koros’ of Teci, Nabukeru and Nacula villages and others provided in this successful rescue.
