Fiji Airways National Sevens Team Coach, Gareth Baber says the natural skill set and speed of Alasio Naduva makes him a very good impact player but that does not mean he will always come off the bench.

Speaking from Dubai, Baber says players can make an impact even from a starting position, depending on the opposition and the situation of the match.

He says players will be utilized based on their different attributes, be it a player who can win the kick off in the last play of the match or someone who has great stepping ability when the opposition is tired.

Baber says across the board every player makes a point of difference and the challenge at hand is ensuring that all twelve players are making equal contribution to their performance.

Fiji’s first pool match is against Japan at 4.02am this Friday, they will take on Argentina in their second pool match at 10.04pm the same night and they will face France in their last match at 4.02am on Saturday.

The quarterfinals will be held at 8.14pm this Saturday, the semifinals will be at 12am Sunday while the final will be at 4.02am this Sunday.

Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet South Africa, England or Kenya in the quarter-final, they can face South Africa or France in the semi-final and is likely to meet New Zealand or the USA in the final of the Dubai 7s.
