Anthony Joshua is not worried about Andy Ruiz Jr being heavier than him saying “its the skills that pay the bills”.
Joshua weighed in at 107.5 kilograms while heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr weighed in at 128.3 kilograms, 6 kilograms heavier than the first fight.
Ruiz Jr had earlier hinted he would be dropping 4 kilograms of his weight ahead of the rematch.
Speaking after the weigh-in, Joshua told Sky Sports he wasn't worried about the differences in their weight at all.
Forbes.com reports Joshua is set to make upwards of $US60 million for the rematch while Ruiz Jr will be paid $US9 million.
The amount of money each fighter is receiving was negotiated in their first fight when Joshua was still champion.
This is why Joshua is set to earn more than Ruiz Jr.
The boxing program for the second WBA, IBF and WBO title showdown in Saudi Arabia between current world champion Andy Ruiz Jr and former champion Anthony Joshua will start at 6am tomorrow.
