Defending Youth champion, Tuva is just a step away from retaining their title for the third consecutive year in this year’s McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s at Lawaqa Park.

Tuva Youth will face Dominion Brothers in the final at 5.33pm today.

Tuva defeated Vueti Cakau 5-0 in the first semifinal where the only try of the match came from Cuvu College student, Simeli Karacia.

In the second semifinal, Dominion Brothers defeated PSM Aflame Brothers 10-7.

In the Women’s competition, defending champions, Marist Seahawks have won their two matches where they beat Nadi Blazers 15-12 and NFA Women 17-10.

In other matches of the women’s competition, Rugby Vault International defeated Flying Vixens 17-10, Fijiana Development thrashed Sydney Savusavu 36-0, Fiji Airports Nadi Aviators defeated Sydney Savusavu 45-5 and Striders defeated Rugby Academy Women 26-7.

The cup semifinals in the women’s competition will start at 12.12pm tomorrow while the cup final will be at 4.45pm tomorrow.

The Men’s competition will begin tomorrow.

The Men’s cup quarterfinals will start at 11.20am Saturday, the cup semifinals will be at 2.50pm Saturday while the cup final will be at 5pm Saturday. You can catch the live commentaries of these matches on our sister station, Viti FM.
