HSBC World 7s Series leaders South Africa are on the brink of elimination from the Hamilton 7s after being beaten 21-19 by England this afternoon.

South Africa had the opportunity to level the scores in the final minute but Justin Geduld sent his conversion wide from close range.

South Africa will now need to beat Kenya tomorrow and hope England loses to Japan to have any hopes of qualification.

England will play Japan at 10.51 am tomorrow while South Africa faces Kenya at 11.13 am.
