The Education Ministry confirms that Saraswati Primary School in Dilkusha Road, Nausori, Holy Trinity Anglican School and some other schools within the Suva area will have new teachers in school by next week.
However, the Ministry says it is still working on filling the teacher vacancies in schools in all divisions.
When questioned on how many vacancies are yet to be filled by the Education Ministry, it says the number keeps changing on a daily basis.
The Ministry says vacancies in schools still exist due to teacher transfers, the retirement of teachers, resignations or demise of teachers.
