Three men who allegedly raped a child on separate occasions in Lomaiviti have been remanded in custody.

A 69-year-old man allegedly raped the girl when she was 10-years-old in 2018. The man is the victim’s grand uncle and he is charged with one count of rape.

A 70-year-old man allegedly raped the same girl during term two of the school term in 2018. The man was the girl’s neighbour and he is charged with 2 counts of rape.

A 19-year-old man allegedly raped the same girl when she was 11-year-old during the term two school holidays last year.

The victim is the man's niece. He is charged with one count of rape.

The state has asked for more time to file information of the accused to the court.

The case has been adjourned to next Wednesday.
