A 59-year-old man has admitted in the Suva High Court that he raped and indecently assaulted his two grand-daughters aged 4 and 7 years old in September last year.
He pleaded guilty to 4 counts of Rape and one count of Indecent Assault as he sat in his wheelchair in the courtroom.
The incident happened in a village in Naitasiri.
The man touched his grand-daughters private parts in his room and then told them to not say anything to anyone after giving them balloons.
It came to light after the mother asked the two girls how they got the balloons.
The matter was reported to Police on 17th September last year.
The sentencing hearing will take place on the 25th of this month.
