FijiFirst candidate, Faiyaz Siddiq Koya has been awarded the parliamentary seat left vacant by Ashneel Sudhakar.

Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Suresh Chandra says Koya is the highest-ranked out of the candidates of the FijiFirst who did not get elected to Parliament and is still available to serve.

Koya got 547 votes in the 2018 general elections.
