Naitasiri u-19 rugby player charged for allegedly punching referee

The Naitasiri under-19 rugby player who allegedly punched a referee on Saturday has been charged.

Police say he has been charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm and will be produced in the Nausori Magistrates Court this morning.
