Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says Twitter’s decision to ban US President Donald Trump’s account raises new questions about international social media regulation.
In a tweet, Sayed-Khaiyum says these platforms are global as is violence-inciting rhetoric.
The Attorney General has asked if the same standards will apply if violence-inciting rhetoric happens across borders.
He says if it happened outside the US, would the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey care.
