Manchester City has continued its dominant form in the English Premier League after thrashing defending champions Liverpool 4-1 this morning.

Ilkay Gundogan scored twice for City while Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden got a goal each.

Gundogan had also missed a penalty in the first half.

Mohammed Salah scored the only goal for Liverpool from the penalty spot.

City is now 5 points clear of second-placed Manchester United despite playing a game less.
