Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who is currently overseas held a virtual meeting with the team of the Ministry of Economy to discuss preparations for the 2021-2022 National Budget.
The Fijian Government has tweeted that details on the upcoming online and in-person public budget consultations by the ministry will be announced soon.

The meeting included Reserve Bank of Fiji Governor Ariff Ali, Permanent Secretary for Economy Makereta Konrote, Head of the Construction Implementation Unit Mohammed Shah and senior officials of the ministry.
