The Crusaders have sent out an early warning to the other Super Rugby franchises with a classy victory over the Hurricanes in Christchurch.

The defending champions scored five tries to the Hurricanes one as they secured a bonus point 33-16 win.

After Round 2 of Super Rugby Aotearoa, the Crusaders lead the standings with 9 points, the Highlanders are second with 5 points while the Blues are in third place with 4 points.

In Round 3, the Crusaders will meet the Chiefs at 6.05pm this Saturday while the Highlanders meet the Blues at 2.35pm on Sunday.
