The Water Authority of Fiji is providing a 30-day extension to current water bill due dates.
CEO, Barry Omundson says this is for the customers who are unable to pay their water bills because of the current COVID-19 containment restrictions.
He says they understand that this is a challenging time for many Fijians, especially with the necessary measures that have had to be taken to keep Fiji safe from COVID-19.
Omundson says this initiative is mainly meant to help those who are currently unable to attend work having been restricted to certain containment zones, and may be having financial difficulties.
