Police checkpoints on both ends of the Laqere Bridge is causing a huge traffic jam along the Kings Highway this morning.

The traffic stretches from the Laqere Bridge to Nakasi on the Suva-bound lane.

Police are yet to confirm the reason for the checkpoints.

There is also a checkpoint along Princes Road.
