Two crew members of an inter-island shipping vessel have been issued Public Health Infringement Notices for entering a containment zone without proper clearance.
Police say the two allegedly entered a containment zone without proper authorisation while their vessel was berthed in Kadavu.
The two were part of the 217 Public Health Infringement Notices issued over the last 48-hour period.
According to Police, failure to wear a mask in public accounted for the majority of the bookings with 175 reports recorded.
There were 25 cases for breach of curfew and 5 for failure to wear a mask in a Public Service Vehicle.
Ten bookings were made in the Eastern Division for playing sports.
Police are reminding members of the public that all forms of sporting activities are still prohibited.
