The Fiji Meteorological Services has confirmed a mini tornado affected the greater Nadi area between 2.30pm to 3pm today, however there is no threat of a major tornado.

They say this was a result of a thunderstorm activity over the greater Nadi area and the tornado dissipated when the thunder clouds dissipated. You can check out the video on our website, fijivillage.
